The 30A area has it all, and we want to share it with you! We’ve put together a list of the top six spots for the best live music on 30A.
The Red Bar – Grayton Beach
The Red Bar is famous for its quirky, eclectic décor, delicious gulf-inspired dishes, and live music and performances. Singer Sheryl Crow has been known to stop in and perform a song or two on occasion because this spot is just that cool! The Red Bar Jazz Band performs weekly Tuesday thru Saturday from 5:30 p.m.- 9 p.m., adding a bluesy, relaxing feel to the atmosphere. A live DJ keeps the party going weekly every Wednesday thru Saturday starting at 9 p.m.
AJ’s – Grayton Beach
If you’re looking for a place to hang out later into the night, AJ’s Grayton Beach is a great option. One of the only bars on 30A open past 11 p.m., you won’t want to miss their fantastic combination of great music and mouth-watering dishes! If you’re more of a morning person, enjoy the live music every Sunday during brunch at 11 a.m., and let your night owl friends experience the music that begins again at 9 p.m. Every Thursday you can show off your own vocal talent during karaoke night starting at 9 p.m! Stinky’s Fish Camp/Stinky’s Bait Shack
With a casual, rustic fish camp style, Stinky’s has a laid-back, friendly feel that is a favorite among locals as well as tourists. There’s something really special in the atmosphere with the acoustics and great crowd! Live music happens seven days a week from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. in the Bait Shack (adjacent to the restaurant and more casual and drink oriented) from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Check out Stinky’s Music Calendar for a list of artists who will be performing each month. Old Florida Fish House
Live music is a staple at Old Florida Fish House. A family owned restaurant in the heart of 30A, you will love the mix of local and traveling musicians as you enjoy awesome fresh seafood and drinks from their generous menu. Fantastic live music takes place nightly from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., but one of the most popular attractions are the amazing Dueling Pianos at 7:30 p.m. (be sure to check the Upcoming Entertainment on their website as the dates vary). The show combines live music, improvisation, comedy and lots of audience interaction to create a high-energy, crowd-driven experience!
Redfish Taco—Blue Mountain Beach
Live music is a central component of Red Fish Taco’s festive atmosphere! Featuring talented artists every Monday from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday-Sunday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., you can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a casual night with great food and fun entertainment. Their Garden Room is covered but outdoor, so you’ll get the feel of an open, breezy venue while being somewhat sheltered from the elements. With recurring acts such as the Catalyst Dance Band and Pickled Pickers, the live music adds a feel good vibe that’s perfect for a fun and casual dining experience along 30A. The Big Chill
Rounding out the list is The Big Chill, another spot you will definitely want to visit during your stay at 30A! This is family-friendly entertainment complex has multiple restaurants, bars, shops, and an amphitheater stage for live music. They host “Live Music on Stage” regularly, typically on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. There’s something for everyone as the genres vary depending on the artist, but you can be sure you’ll enjoy the musical talent whether it’s jazz, country, rock, pop, or a good old-fashioned music jam!
