Our office is in Blue Mountain Beach so we are likely to be some of the first people to try out new places to eat along 30A. We were intrigued when we saw this really interesting building being built in Blue Mountain Beach and delighted to find out it was to be a Mimmo’s. Mimmo's Destin location has been open for 9 years and has won "Best of Emerald Coast" twice so as soon as we could get there, we headed over for an office lunch. The restaurant is nicely appointed, very warm and inviting. We learned the owner is from southern Italy and recipes have been passed down from his family so the food is pretty darn authentic. Sauces are prepared in house and flatbreads and pizza’s baked using their "branded" brick pizza oven. We expected it to be good. It was.

Our table of six at lunch came back full and happy. We will personally vouch for: 

Pasta’s! Pasta Carbonara, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and Fettuccine Alfredo… you will not be disappointed. 

Pizza’s! Pizza Regina, Pizza Rustica just like you may have been lucky enough to have experienced in Italy.

And the Garlic Rolls were enthusiastically described as “the bomb” by everyone.

Friendly and accommodating staff, very good food, reasonably priced.
