Have you ever seen a Sea Turtle?

While you are visiting South Walton, you may have the opportunity to see a nest. We are blessed to share the beach with Sea Turtles and we do our best to love and protect them. We know you will want to help.

From May to October South Walton's beautiful beaches are the nesting grounds for several species of Sea Turtles and it's best to be very careful not to disturb them. The mom has a tough journey to find just the right spot for her nest and the hatchlings must get from the nest to the water with all kinds of predators and obstacles in the way. It's not easy!
